Cheryl, it was nice to meet you yesterday. The quiche was delicious, and it was so nice to go to an establishment that serves a good cup of tea. Thanks for the tips on the local thrift stores. I will have to come back on a Saturday when they are all open. I’ll be sure to stop in for a snack at the Shortcake Bakery. P.S. I posted a link to this website on my facebook page, so my friends will know about the bakery.
Thanks Julie! Delighted to hear you enjoyed the quiche and look forward to seeing you again.
What a gem and what a wonderful, wonderful place to take time to make time. I took my little girl to the bakery with me ordered a Nantuket Pie (best thing ever) for future pickup, had the spinich pie for me (awesome), a peach turnover for my daughter and left with free cupcakes to feed the ducks.
Cheryl and her son who happend to be in the shop were nothing short of lovely to me and my daughter.
The cup cake was a hit with the ducks.
The Nantucket pie was ordered on Thursday for a Saturday pick up and devoured on Tuesday in less then 15 min.
Cheryl, your Nantuket Pie was the hit of the Picnic/Cookout at my daughters school. In less then 15 min. the pie was gone and I had no less then 6 people asking where I got the pie. Dont be surprised if the requests for N.P.’s goes through the roof. Children and Adults both loved it.
Thank you for allowing my husband (who did not get a bite of the pie) to pick the orderup and more so thank you for making the Pie and holding it. It was not my intention to forget the order but it all worked out! I hope you NEVER stop making N.P.’s. I will be ordering another one for my daughters summer tea party!!
Thanks again Gini.
